It's been a while...

Hi
You’re probably wondering, what is this email? And then you remember you signed up it for it at some point in the past, so let’s see what this guy has to say.
As mentioned in the title, it’s been some time since I sent a newsletter because last winter, I forgot about the December 2024 draft, and it sat unfinished and unsent well into January before the realization hit.
I to myself, “screw it,” and decided I wouldn’t send out a newsletter until I finally finished the first draft of JANET.
And now I’ve finally finished JANET.
First draft has been sent to my always-first beta reader, my wife.
My brain is pretty fried on thinking about JANET, so I asked ChatGPT to write a one-paragraph synopsis of JANET, and this is what I got:
In Janet! The Last Earth, waitress Cat, conspiracy vlogger Graham, and former TV journalist Rachael are swept into a top-secret government program at Groom Lake (Area 51) that monitors a mysterious portal connecting countless alternate Earths. When they cross into “Earth Prime,” they meet a series of strange entities—including a skateboarding penguin who speaks like Matthew McConaughey—who reveal that all Earths are evaluated by the “EATS” scale, measuring the balance of technological progress and empathy. Unfortunately, their home, “Janet Earth,” is failing spectacularly. As they bumble through diplomatic crises, philosophical debates, and interdimensional absurdities, the trio must confront the uncomfortable truth that humanity’s arrogance and disunity may erase their world entirely. Both comedic and cosmic, the story blends Men in Black humor with Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy satire, culminating in an impossible challenge that might determine the fate of existence itself.
It’s just the first draft, but it’s a done draft.
Be safe.
Tim

How, my dear friend, do you have "Screw it" in the same line as "JANET," and not change "Screw it" to "Damn It" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZtavHAsQCM
